LOS ANGELES, LONDON and ZURICH, October 11, 2022 – Marlin Equity Partners has acquired People-Analytix AG, an AI-based employee skills management platform. Headquartered in Switzerland, the company’s skills management platform includes a proprietary multilingual skills ontology with over 20,000 unique skills, enabling companies to identify organizational skills gaps, uncover workforce trends and match employees to jobs, projects and learning. People-Analytix will be merged with Learning Pool, an existing Marlin portfolio company. Venero Capital Advisors acted as financial advisor to People Analytix. “The advancements from the acquisition of People-Analytix will allow customers the power to automatically address skills gaps as they appear,” said Ben Betts, CEO of Learning Pool. “It is a tremendously exciting technology and a fundamental component in our wider mission to support talent development in creating extraordinary performers.”
“We are thrilled to take our shared passion for innovation and customer centricity forward to build the future of enterprise learning. Current skills solutions in the market use relatively basic taxonomy that does not reflect current market developments,” said Christoph Küffer, CEO and Co-Founder of People-Analytix. “At the heart of our solution is an AI-powered solution built over ten years with human guidance that sets apart our offering and has the power to revolutionize how organizations manage their approach.” On the role of Venero, Mr. Küffer commented: "Venero did an outstanding job getting us on the radar of potential buyers and providing valuable support throughout the entire process." Georgios Markakis, Managing Partner at Venero, added: "Placing skills at the center of learning helps employers address in real-time the widening skills gap within their organisations. People-Analytix is highly complementary to Learning Pool’s offering and significantly enhances its competitive position. We are delighted to have supported Christoph and the People Analytix team on this journey."
