The transaction positions eCademy as a standalone digital learning company under the leadership of Björn Jopen and Dr. Fabian Bohne.
The spin-out represents a strategic separation that allows eCademy to operate as an independent entity focused on corporate digital learning solutions. Originally founded in 2013 and acquired by Cornelsen Verlag in 2018, eCademy has evolved into a comprehensive digital learning platform serving over 500 companies across Germany and internationally.
Björn Jopen, serial entrepreneur and turnaround manager, brings extensive experience from his previous ventures including FairControl GmbH (sold to MCI Group in 2012) and FaceAdNet (acquired by Ströer AG in 2015). Dr. Fabian Bohne complements the leadership team with deep expertise in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
eCademy specializes in vocational training and continuing education, offering scalable e-learning solutions for apprentices and employees. It provides an integrated platform for corporate training and professional development, enabling companies, professionals, authors, and partners to create high-quality digital learning experiences.
